The aroma is malty with some chocolatey overtones as well as some slight roastiness. The appearance is a glowing burgundy-brown in color when held to the light with a small head on top that is off-white in color and diminishes to a light lacing that sticks to the glass. The mouthfeel is light-bodied and smooth with some nice complexity and balance with a palate that is nice and a bit dry. The flavor is sweet, roasty, chocolatey, nutty, as well as malty with an aftertaste that is crisp and smooth with a finish that is nice and pleasant and well-rounded. Overall, a very nice attempt at the style here for sure and much better than I expected it would be; recommended brew here for sure.

Bottle. Pours a clear brown color with a very light, light-brown color. Almost no lacing. Light malty aroma. Slightly fizzy mouthfeel. Flavor is slightly yeasty with a nice kick of chocolate malt. A good brown ale, but nothing special.

Medium brown color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is nutty, malty and sweet. A medium bodied brown ale. Malts are malty and sweet. Touch of toffee. Slightly spicy hops. Nicely balanced. A lighter tasting brown ale. A touch thin in the mouth and kind of mild in flavor. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

This is one of my favorite brown ales.medium brown color. Very complex. I love it. Slightly peppery, peaty, some nutty, nutmeg flavors; not too nutty.......... Rich underlying notes like tobacco or fine dry cigars. I'd warm this up as much as u can to drink it. The flavors are as if i'm eating something.

Nice nut brown ale if you like that sort of thing. This was perhaps the first nut brown ale I'd ever tasted. Aroma is sweet and nutty. Flavor was too hard to remember in detail other than a nut malt w/ some hop balance.
