Crap what a rip off the only reason I bought this brew was I thought it would be a eisbock, it turns out to be just a crap lager. STUPID FALSE ADVERTIZING. Brew appears very pale yellowy brown with the standard lager cap. Sweet metallic, grainy aroma with a slight hop bite. Dam I’m almost upset I don’t hate the smell I was looking forward to hating this but I don’t really. Metallic hop flavor with a grain/grass malt presence with corn for sweetness. I’m detecting a unpleasant alcohol/chemical flavor in the finish. Now that the beer is starting to warm its becoming crappy. When warm the flavor seems to have gotten watered down and begins to taste like a more stereo typical American lager with slightly more alcohol. I guess this is ok for the style which is to bad cause I really wanted to hate this one. My mark seems to high but I have no intention to ever re-review this again.

Another bad beer that bears the Yankee Jim badge. There seems to be a lot of bad beers that bear this name. It looks like a typical North American pale lager and in some ways tastes as bad as most North American pale lagers. Sadly, it may have the best taste of any of the Yankee Jim beers.

Pours a golden-yellow colour with a frothy white head that is pretty big, and stays a little while. Not much carbonation and even the mouthfeel feels flat. I can just barely make a little burp (s'cuse me). Can't really feel any alcohol, except for the buzz. Mild malty nose and grain really shows up in the aftertaste. Nothing really bad here, just a decent swill to get shitfaced.

The beer pours a translucent gold colour with a generous white fluffy head which quickly dissipates after pouring was complete. The aroma is vomit, pure unadulterated vomit. Had I not poured this myself, I don’t think I would have drank it. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, mild carbonation. The taste is better than the aroma. There wi a definite hoppy taste. It is an easy drinking beer, went down well. -

473 ml can Not an eisbock you would expect...I suppose they are pretending this is what a hellesbock would look like as a eisbock...except we know a commercial North American Ice beer process was used..odd to say the least. Pours a clear gold with a fair 2 finger sticky cap fair retention laces well .enough. Not much for the nose here: light hints of malt some apple and a lot od dextrin sweetness. Flavour is primarily a sweet dextrin taste with hints of graininess and a light rush of hop at the finish just before it gets flooded out with a acidic dextrin "bite". Inoffensive, no off tastes, more sweet than malty, hide alcohol well but stale tasting and unremarkable.
