excellent example of what a lager beer should taste like. Dark straw, slightly cloudy, moderate foamy white head, nice lacing. Pale dusty and barnish malt aroma. Seems to have a bit of sweetness that lends itself well to this one. Moderate body and mouthfeel. Lingering cardboardy musty grassiness.

A tasty and mild golden lager from the good folk in Minster, Ohio. I'd like to believe that this is or is at least based on the original Wooden Shoe recipe from the pre-prohibition era. Soft and mildly malty with a hint of green hops.
