Dark and Dry is made with a blend of apples and champagne yeast but caramelized sugar is added just before filtering to impart a deep bronze tone. White sugar is used in the Amber Cider

A little on the sweet side, but I like the dryness in the finish...does that count as body or flavor? Not a standout, but i'd drink again, and fall is the time for this stuff.

AKA Woodchuck 802 Hard Cider. Pours an amber clean colour with a little lacing. Mild aromas of red apples, but real apples, not candy-like. Wet refreshing mouthfeel and the taste is mild as well (maybe a bit too cold) with a little sweetness and notes of apple cider and malt vinegar. Hints of sourness make this cider quite nice overall and different from most clean golden ciders.

One of those hard to find items in my area. Pretty good apple flavor with a little less pucker factor than the woodchuck granny smith variety. If your interested in something different than the regular beer routine its worth a visit.

Never really tried draft ciders before besides woodchuck's granny smith. I'm pretty impressed with this one. Much fuller taste than the granny smith, alot sweeter too. Dark golden brown in color, aroma is sweet and of apples.

I liked this. It had a great balance not too swwet not too acidic. Clear amber color with just the smallest amount of head. The carbonation level added to the drinkablity without turning it in to a sparking wine. This was incredible with stuffed pork hops give it a go.

I have always loved ciders and this didn't disappoint, Looking at the label and having tried many ciders I had an inkling how it would be... Pours a copper hue, with a strong "dark" apple smell. It has a nice unique flavour, as odd as it sounds it tastes how it looks..Is a good cooking cider as well!

Aroma is dry and sweet with some fruity and perfumey aromas coming through with maybe some apples. Appearance is interesting and is a dark tan to orange in color when held to the light with a decent head on top that remains and is carbonated and white in color and very lacey. Mouthfeel is light-bodied and crisp with some complex fruit overtones with a palate that is quite dry. Flavor is sweet and sour with some apple overtones and is wine like with an aftertaste that is dry and I quite can't place what that flavor is and the finish is sharp, dry, sweet. Overall, not a bad creation here but I want drink again; I just don't like the sweetness.

This easily weighs in as the best cider that I have tasted. this cider has the aroma is sweet, fresh red apples with a slight touch of alcohol. The appearence is medium brown topped off with a smallish white head that left no real lace. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, smooth and refreshing, as most ciders tend to be. The flavor was almost just like biting into a juicy red apple, with just a little bit of alcohol present in the dry finish.

Dark and dry is an average cider in my opinion. It is not as good as the Amber draft cider or Granny Smith Draft cider made by Woodchuck. It did not seem to have as much flavor as those two ciders.

Dark and Dry is just not quite sweet enough for my taste in ciders. Woodchuck is still one of the better cider breweries that I know of so this is still not a bad cider.
