Fränken Bierausflug, Day#2, Brewery#5, Beer#8. This is the bier available vom Faß at the brewery, with the taproom having the appearance of an old mens' community center, like an American VFW Post; I fit right in. Pours a clear golden color with a thick, foamy off-white head that rapidly disappates without a trace. Fresh aroma of malted grain. Crisp, fresh, and full mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid flavors of smooth malt with tart, bitter hops. Finish is crisp, dry and alive; found me begging for more.
