Another (bottled) beer that I picked up at the "Foggy Bottom Brew Pub" (Norfolk Int'l Airport). While the Foggy Bottom Ale did nothing but annoy me, this Porter isn't all that bad. Enough character to stand up and take notice.
Again, another beer that seems way too thin and limp, both in the initial pour, and in the mouthfeel. But putting that aside for now, the actual presentation of the beer itself is interesting. The "brewpub" (that doesn't actually brew anything) served this way too cold, but once things were allowed to warm up a bit, this beer's roasty character started to come through.
It won't win any competitions, but this is still interesting enough to check out.
