Sampler size sample. A very nice IPA, poured with the usual color and a nice head and lacing. The aroma was strong grapefruits and citrus rinds. The flavor was grapefruits and citrus rinds along with a significant pine presence, quite strong in the hopping with enough malt balance to support it underneath (although I can't attribute much of the flavor to the malts). Mouthfeel was on par, fairly smooth.

Simply put: Awesome. Ranks right up there with the best IPAs I've ever had. Served in a standard pint, came a hazy gold/orange with a finger of foam, with great retention. Aroma is powerful, some nice sweet but backgrounded malt, and hops galore; citric grapefruit, orange rind, and strong resinous pine flavors. Flavor starts with some malt sweetness, mixed with some strong hop sweetness. Tangerine, crushed pine needles, grapefruit rind, and some lemon hints come in a rush of bitterness. Finishes a little dry, with a longlasting bitter citric aftertaste. As I said, awesome. A hopheads wet dream
