Pours gold with tons of scary, suspended sediment and minimal head. The aroma is appley and herble and sets your anticipation of the flavor appropriately low. The flavor is sour, dirty, appley, all the while remaining light, watery and generally undesirable. Light-to-no body and not fun to drink. In its defense, I always worry about the age and condition of storage for a rare import like this one. A good friend brought it back from Austria to sample and I'm probably just lucky to have tried it.

Sampled from bottle, a gift from Austria from my friend Greg. This beer pours gold with a faint haze, a thin white head and a bit of lacing. The aroma is grainy and slightly floral. Balanced with a solid malt profile and some grassy hops. Medium-bodied and lightly carbonated. Would be good to try this one fresh from the source as I think this sample has some age on it.
