We’re turning things deliciously upside down with an aggressively hopped, cold-fermented brew that brings together the clean, crisp finish of a lager with the hoppy aroma and character of an IPA. Prost to turning convention on its head!

Huge floral and citrus aroma, golden orange-amber with a tight white head. Enough malt to give it good back. Medium-bodied with a nice piney-resin. Tasty and perfect for the warm days.

Golden yellow pour with white head. Minimal lace on the glass. Floral aroma with citrus taste. Very little hop biterness. Crisp finish. Nice beer overall. Will have to try again. Courtesy of The Keg Tucson.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear gold with a small white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet starchy malts with some fruity hops.

The flavor is sweet vegetal malts with some harsh metallic bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, kind of a mess of sweetness and bitterness.

Pours a nice clear amber - not much head, but that must be from how the bartender prepared it. Aroma is malty not too hoppy. Flavor is considerably hoppier than the aroma, a little malty and a little fruity. Texture has OK fizz and body, leaving a hoppy finish. Overall, not too shabby.

Another winner in Widmer's Rotator IPA series for sure. Gold/amber pour with a smallish white head. Citrus and lemon notes in the aroma and flavor with a crisp, grainy malt backbone. Refreshing; perfect for a warm summer day.

Lagers are one of my least favorite styles (with exeption to good ones like Sammy Boston/Winter Lager, Blue Point Toasted, etc....stuff in that category). This is only my 2nd sample of an IPL, but I can say that this fad is catching on with me! Good seasonals for spring/summer weather in Florida. Lighter and not as malty as an IPA. This one has some good hop to it. Well balanced with the citrus. Clear light orange appearance...not cloudy like Sammy's new IPL. I liked the flavor better too. Would get this again.
