That’s right... a coffee saison. Our brewers sat down to try and create a new take on a coffee beer. We decided to merge the bright notes of a light roast acidic and fruity coffee, with our saison yeast, that is heavy on the citrus and pepper. The end product is a beer that bursts tart berry and bitter chocolate notes shining through the plum and lemon pepper profile of the saison. This beer is a must try.

Yes sir, a Coffee Saison, and a black one to boot. Pours like a thin cup of black coffee, with a short-lived head and virtually no lacing. Big black coffee in the nose and palate right away, boom!, then a nice peppery and lightly citrusy/fruity presence to calm it a bit, then more roasted malts and coffee goodness. One helluva Saison. Absolutely loved it.
