Hot peppers are a touchy fruit. They can very easily overwhelm a beer. We gently steeped Habanero peppers into this Saison and matched them with 200 plus pounds of Peach puree to create a balanced pepper fruit beer. With heat in the aroma, peach on the palate and a slight warming of the throat to finish, this ale will keep you wanting more.

Taps translucent apricot with a thick ivory head that leaves generous lacing. Aroma presents sweet peach, fresh malt, a peppery hint. Flavor gives sweet peach, almost right off the tree, plus fresh malt and just enough hot pepper to be interesting but not overwhelming. Texture delivers firm body and peppy fizz. Peach and habañero - an interesting combo.

When I saw this creature on the beer list it went straight to the top of my Want List. Light golden orange color, slight white head, some lacing. Light sweet peachy aroma and taste, initially fruity and sweet then a very slight welcome heat from the habanero peppers, not at all overpowering, very subtle, then more peach goodness along with some funk and yeasts. A Southerner's Dream - a Hot Peach! Hot Damn! is more like it! Great Saison - Worthy.
