Part of their 4-pack Winter Collection... from last year. Oh wow! Big toothpaste, gum wintergreen minty nose. Dark brown colour, looks clean enough with some copper highlights, a tad of ruby. The head is big, creamy-frothy, warm beige with very good retention and solid creamy lacing. I am almost getting some chocolate malt, but not really - the mint is so strong. Weird, the mint is much milder in the taste, with the roasted malt base. Hints of chocolate malts linger. Interesting brew, and not hating the minty dark brews, but this one might be a little unbalanced between it all.

Tall can from LCBO. Pours a huge frothy brownish head with soapy lace and has a amber brownish appearance. Aromas are very minty, some chocolate, earthy hops and a bit wheaty. Flavours are very sweet and also quite minty, mostly peppermint, very strong at first. Eventually subsides a bit to let some chocolatey notes comes through with hints of cacao nibs. The mint notes don't go away though and almost becomes mint gum like on the palate. One of these is plenty for me. Tastes fine but a one and done kinda brew.
