Strawberry Blonde - Strawberry Wheat Ale The Story... We don't brew too many wheat beers - but when summer hits, it just seems to work. The Beer... Wheat and 2 Row, with a pile of strawberries! Smooth, fluffy mouthfeel with subtle tangy sweet strawberry undertones. Beautifully crushable summer wheat!

Tall can from the brewery. Pours an average size foamy white head and has a slightly hazy orangey coloured appearance with some bubbly lace sticking around. Lively carbonation. Aromas of strawberries are predominant as well as various other similar berries, a bit yeasty as well. Flavours are fruity mostly of the berry persuasion, a little bit of yeasty notes as well, and some wheaty hints as well. Mild drying mouthfeel. Not bad.

Thanks PaleAleRider for this can from the brewery. Golden colour with a little amber as well. Bubbly off-white cap, fizzing away slowly, helped by the vivid carbonation. Getting hazier with every pour. Yeasty nose at first, but the strawberries come through. I feel a little infection with a tad of sourness, but not the right one in the taste. Well, this is too bad, as killing the strawberry fun. Mild wheat on the tongue lingers. The idea was good, but gotta clean those pipes.
