Far niente - the art of doing nothing... Sara’s take on a classic French Saison, using French Saison yeast from Escarpment labs, local pilsner malt from Mississippi Malts. Spicy saaz hops - with a twist of Amarillo / Citra dry hopping. It’s extremely satisfying, spicy, fruity, peppery and delicious!

Clean, golden colour with a bubbly white cap, average retention and some light lacing patches. Aromas of wheat-bananas, balanced with some grassy-herbal hops and hints of citrus. The taste has the same going on with some decent dry finish, and mild bitterness. Not too hoppy, but nicely blending with the soft wheat. A nice Saison that is not too sweet with the help of the hops, and a touch of warming.
