Malzmischung : Weyermann Böhmisches Weizen Tennnenmalz 51 %; Weyermann Böhmisches Tennenmalz ( Pilsner Art ) 45 %; Weyermann Spezial " W " 2 %, Weyermann Carawheat 2 %. Hopfen : Hercules, Cascade, Motueka. Kaltgehopfung : je 25g/hl Citra und Galaxy. Hefe : Fermentis Safbrew WB 06.

    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7

500 ml swing-top bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Weyermannn Weizen Vase an unfiltered and hazy amber-orange coloured Weizenbock with a generous two fingers light beige and soapy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Poor lacing. Some floating sediments. The aroma is wheat malts, intense aciditic juicy fruits, citrus, lime and strong aromatic hops. The flavour is wheat malts, pronounced aromatic hops, fruity, citrus, pineapples. The mouthfeel is light crispy, quite thin, prickly and hoppy bitter. The texture is watery. This medium to full bodied W B has a dry fruity and hoppy bitter finish and an undeniable lingering warming effect. A very interesting Weizenbock with an unusual dominant hopy side.
