Malzmischung : Weyermann Wiener Malz 88 %, Weyermann Carafa Typ 2 6%, Weyermann Caraaroma 6%. Hopfen : East Kent Golding. Zutaten : Wasser, Weyermann Gerstenmalz, Hopfen, Kaffee, Hefe.

500 ml swing-top bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Weyermann stemmed glass an unfiltered dark-brown-red, close to black, coloured Stout with a one finger fine and dense beige foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is heavy roasted malts, heavy roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, herbal notes. The flavour is roasted and burnt malts, roasted and burnt coffee beans, herbal and ashes notes and a light sourness touch. The mouthfeel is fresh, sparkling, coffeish bitter and quite thin. This medium bodied Stout has a long roasted and bitter finish. A better nose as the palate.
