250 ml bottle, bought in France. Amber colour, large off-white head. Strong sweetish aroma with notes of whisky (or rather: whisky liqueur). Flavour is very sweet and sugary, the notes of peat-smoked malts are there, but seem somehow displaced in this sugary environment. Besides the sweetness and smoked malts the beer is relatively light-bodied, without much complexity. Won’t be my favourite tipple this one, but it is not undrinkable. A 250 ml bottle is enough, though.

clear red-amber with few and chaotic head, buttery and caramel aroma, very sweet with a disgusting sugary and caramel finish - does not compare to Adelscott

This is a beer that brands itself as a 'Highland Whisky Malt Beer' and the way that I understand it is that this is a beer that thinks is a whisky. I cannot directly compare it to my favourite Pilsners but it is a very nice tasting beer. I would not mind having a six-pack of this in my fridge.
