Pours a golden yellow with large white head that hangs for a bit. The aroma is hops and malt, over all a great aroma. The taste is wonderful with wonderful Bavarian flavor. The mouthfeel is great with medium bodied and nice carbonation

Comes out of the tap clear golden amber with a nice eggshell head. Crisp aroma is malty and fruity with a hoppy hint. Crisp, malty flavor is typical, but fruity and hop snippets give it some life and interest. Texture has decent firmness and some good fizz. Gotta love Deutsch bier.

This style reminds me of a pilsner, or kind of lagerish. Light with a grassy, earthy, mild flavor. More of a summer/spring beer for me. Decent feel. Clear light yellow appearance. I prefer some of the other beers from this brewer though.

It pours a light golden-yellow with and thick white head some residual lacing. A fresh aroma of malts, hops, lemon and citrus, tart, and light spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of barley malts, hops, lemons and citrus, tart and bitterness, and vanilla and mild spiciness. Good beer!

Underwhelming... and I like the other Weihnstephaner beers I've had. Poured golden straw yellow with a moderate white head... an odd, grassy-funky smell - not even good enough to call it 'aroma'. Flat to the pallette with a sticky-sweet taste and finish.

not really impressed with this one. i love most of their wheat based beers, dopplebock, etc...but this one is barely average, even for an uneventful style. tastes of some muddled malts and hops, corn...too much carbonation on a too thin body. not offensive, but definitely a letdown.

Aromas and flavors of honey, and straw. Pale yellow body with fizzy head that leaves o.k. lace. Overall this is not my favorite style, but it is a decent representation of the Helles style.

Local examples are very, very nice. Smells of honey, and has the same on the after taste. Straw gold, typical for the type, and a unremarkable mouth feel. All said and done this is Real Helles just in time for Summer!

This poured nicely, really flat film. Had good color ,and kind of a thin taste . the taste i have tasted before , must be from the yeast strain. This is a good hot weather beer.
