Wachusett Summer Breeze has been a favorite of mine ever since it was first distributed. It is a wonderfully refreshing, summer beer which goes great during some fun in the sun. After drinking many, many cases of this beer, I'm finally going to review it here on BeerPal.
Summer Breeze has a nice crisp, clear golden color to it and when poured reveals a very slight, white head. A moderate level of carbonation continuously bubbles up from the bottom of the glass after it is poured. The aroma is feint and slightly grainy.
The taste is what I love. It is a very crisp drink that goes down a lot smoother than you would expect based on the carbonation. The flavor of wheat is abundant in the drink and there's even a slight hint of citrus mixed in somewhere in there.
In an American Wheat category, it's not the best around, but it certainly is above par. Next time you are BBQing out in the yard or looking for a nice, refreshing cool beverage to cool you down after mowing the lawn, look up Wachusett's Summer Breeze. It will definitely hit the spot. -

This poured a dark shade of yellow and had a thick head on it. There was just a hint of a wheat aroma coupled with it. The flavor was pretty good-a little wheat flavoring with a little maltiness. All in all not too bad.

Poured a slightly cloudy yellow with foamy white head and good lacing. The flavor was clean and refreshing with a stronger wheat taste coming through inyhe aftertaste. Nice level of carbonation. All in all this was a smmoth drinking refreshing ale that I enjoyed a great deal.

Well poured into the glass this looks disconcertingly like a pilsner..except its a slightly darker yellow..small pure white head. smell is pretty fresh and brisk..mostly malts but some small wheatiness. Nice enough taste pretty neutral..but I can get a taste of wheat at the nd..its sort of creamy. Little thin on the tongue but not too bad. For all its faults this is one extremely drinkable beer.
