Pilzilla, a beer Matt has dubbed a bastardized German, Czech, Polish Pils. There are a lot of things going on in the dude's head, man. It carries all the traits that they call for in a beer and then voodooized. This is a fun, unique interpretation of the beer that Matt fell in love with in Europe. It will take on it own identity and grow each year in varieties of hop and alcohol. Soon to take over Tokyo. Not yet in theaters near you. Ingredients: premium German 2 row barley, dash of Vienna, 9 varieties of German, Czech, and Polish hops. Out house lager blend of yeast.

Wow, there is a whole lot going on here. The beer pours a very couldy golden yellow, with a creamy white head. The aroma is dominated by bready malt and some hops. The flavour was very malty with only a smidgen of hop flavour.

KSBF 08 - Cloudy straw color, some fluffy head present. Smell was strongly grassy. This puppy had some hops. Phew! The hop level approached SA Hallertau Impy Pilsner, but more complexity. Grass, hay and maybe even a little citrus. Nice full mouthfeel. Unique and pleasant.
