1 000 ml swing-top bottle. Poured in the original Volker-Bräu Pokal an unfiltered opaque golden-orange coloured Ale with a one finger light beige foamy head that had a mid-sized retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Poor lacing. The aroma is a mix between strong grainy malts, corn and a very pronounced sourness. The flavour is strong grainy malts, corn, light fruits, nuts. The mouthfeel is prickly, fizzy, sparkling, round and quite thin. This light to medium bodied Ale has a dry malty-corny finish. This Ale needs a familiarization time.
