With the creamy softness and drinkability of a wheat beer and a distinctive Islay Scotch whiskey smokiness, Wheaty Peaty combines elements of Scottish and European brewing traditions, while maintaining its own one-of-a-kind character. The aroma begins with a note of earthy peat smoke, an impression that belies the mild sweetness and medium-body at the heart of this experimental brew. The smoky notes rejoin the palate for a satisfying lingering aftertaste, beckoning for repeat sips. Wheaty Peaty is no doubt a beer with robust flavor, but it remains perplexingly refreshing. Prepare to be surprised- In a jaded, overhopped, been-there-done-that modern craft beer culture, here's something truly new and different!

Interesting beer. On tap at the Vintage. Instant peat and smoke on the nose. Fluffhead. Clouded. Taste is creamy and very full. very filling. Smoke is so noticeable in taste, but doesn't dominate, leaves room for other flavours. some fruity initially. Wheaty still, spice is there.
