Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
A dark amber beer with an OK tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, but also lighter notes of straw and citrus, and a hint of ginger. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel, but also notes of roasted malt, citrus, hops, and alcohol, combined with light notes of herbs, leading to a dry end where the herbs gain in strength and lingers for a long while, combined with a light note of alcohol. Inspite of the alcohol note towards the end, the body seems a bit thin.
