Pours with a crystal clear amber-gold body topped by a medium thick, white head with a good amount of lacing. It’s spicy and hoppy with noted of grass, an underlying malty sweetness and some alcohol esters. Medium to full bodied and hot.

Tasted at the May Northern California Beer Tasting. This Belgian strong ale pours a hazy gold amber color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is banana and clove, yeast, some spices and some funk. A medium bodied BSA. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are earthy. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Bottle. The beer pours out a slightly hazy amberish/orange color with a creamy off-white 2-finger head. Aroma notes are cloves, light banana, toasted malts, some floral notes...nice. The flavor starts out on the earthy side and some fruity notes slide in. Caramel and some nice hop bitterness also shows up as the beer hits its stride. Very nice beer from the guys at Victory.
