Briess Pale balanced with roast, chocolate, caramel and Munich malts create a complex, rich porter that is infused with a dark roast coffee. The winter warmer was lightly hopped to allow the coffee bitterness to help balance the maltiness of this robust beer.

Another little brewery that popped up at Portland's Holiday Ale Festival. This one is actually from the town I stay in for work, yet I never heard of it before. This beer had a very nice brown head and dark brown liquid. The strong coffee and cocoa aroma was excellent. Light-medium body. Sweet with a little drying in the finish. Great malt profile, but I only wish it was a little heavier feeling. I'll have to search these guys out for more beer!
