I'd have to say that this is probably my least favorite beers from the VBC line-up. Saison's can be so hard to make, and I applaud these guys for trying. However, comparitively speaking to their other beers it has a way to go before it catches up. Aroma was a bit spicy, slightly peppery with hints of the coriander they used in brewing. Appearance was a medium/dark orange. Mouthfeel was satisfyingly light, not harsh in any way and nothing offensive like. Flavor was a bit vegetative for me, but I could also detect some white pepper, bitter oranges and grain. A decent attempt and I'm sure they will work out the kinks and get this beer working soon.
