NorCal tasting Apr 07 - Pours out a root beer brown color with a smallish white foamy head. Aroma that first hit me is dark cherries, almost black cherry ice cream in aroma. Other aroma notes were woody, port aromas and some alcohol as well. I also found a bit of crayon aromas in it also. Taste was dark cherries, vanilla, wood, and port. Excellent stuff.

Tasted on tap at the 1st Annual Bistro Barrel Aged Beer Fest. This weizenbock pours a light brown color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel and sweet with a touch of toffee. A medium to light bodied weizenbock. Malts are fruity, caramel and sweet. Touch of oak. Nice earthy hops. Little bit light in body. Nice oak and vanilla flavors. Hints of cherries and some caramel. Hides the alcohol very well. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
