An amber color with a citrus, caramel, and alcohol aroma present. The flavor was rather complex with some caramel, raisins, honey, and a hint of citrus. A rather sweet alcoholic finish. A nice attempt at a Quad.

Hand bottled at brewery. This abbey quad pours a medium copper color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, dark fruit, brown sugar, raisins, and some yeast. A medium to full bodied abbey quadruple. Malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of dark fruit and caramel. Toffee and raisins. Light carbonation. Touch of spiciness. Very nice quad. There is only a slight hint of alcohol noticeable. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with a touch of spiciness.

This is a great beer. A great aroma of caramel, dark fruits, toffee, light spices and bread notes. A rich brown hue in color with nice fluffy off-white head with nice lacing. Flavor is very complex with different notes of dark fruits, molasses, brown sugar, yeast, spicy and toffee all coming at you from different temps. I could keep drinking this all night long. Excellent.
