500 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Ustersbacher Weizen Vase an unfiltered and hazy dark amber-brown coloured Dunkel Weizen with a generous two fingers light beige, dense and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is light yeasty, wheat malts, spicy cloves, notes of caramel and barnyard. The flavour is light yeasty, moderate wheat and toasted malts, notes of smoke. The mouthfeel is light creamy, quite thin and light sourish. The texture is watery. This medium bodied D W has a dry light malty finish. A drinkable D W but lacking of character and charm. Overall a disappointement.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Hazy reddish brown colour with a big beige fluffy head. Aroma is what, yeast, mild banana as well as some slightly toasted and nutty notes. Flavour is wheat, yeast, mild wood, earth and some toasted notes. A bit watery palate.
