500 ml capped bottle, as Ustersbacher Bayerisch Hefeweizen. Poured in the original Ustersbacher Weizen-Vase an unfiltered and hazy straw-yellow coloured HW with a generous three fingers slightly beige, dense and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is wheat malts, spicy, cloves, fruity, citrus and notes of bananas , and a quite unpleasant sourish-aciditic feeling. The flavour is wheat malts, straw, cereal, spicy with notes of cloves and pepper, aciditic fruits, citrus. The mouthfeel is prickly and sourish-tart. The texture is watery. This medium bodied HW has a long aciditic-sourish-bitter finish. This Bavarian Hefeweizen , with its pronounced aciditic-sourish side, brewed in the Augsburger land, is not easy drinkable. A not expected disappointement.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Hazy orange colour with small white head. Aroma is wheat, some slight bready notes, also rather sweet mildly acidic fruity notes along with earth. Flavour is wheat, toffee, some caramel, mild acidic fruits as well as some wooden notes. A bit too acidic for my likes.
