While we age our sour ales in barrels for months, even years, we took a different spin on Petal to the Kettle. We fermented it right in the kettle to give it a distinctively tart finish. The grapefruit, peach, and strawberry flavor complement the aromas of rose and hibiscus petals that give it a pinkish-purple hue. Go ahead, take it for a cruise and enjoy those summer flowers before they fade.

    Pours a light rose color with a tiny, but short lived head. Aromas of strawberries, floral notes and some sourness. On the tongue, the strawberries lead, with firm tartness. The floral notes arrive a little later and linger to the end. Carbonation is on point, making this a super refreshing summer drink. Trying to get out of my IPA/Stout routine and this beer is a nice departure from that. Worth trying. Found at a Target store on sale for $8.99/six pack.
