Belgian Style Golden Ale Brewed with Spices Blonde De L’Enfer (Blonde from Hell) is brewed to celebrate Unibroue’s 25th anniversary. Staying true to our tradition of Belgian style inspiration with a touch of Québécois culture, we crafted a nonconformist take on a classic style, the Belgian Golden Ale. These ales are traditionally named after hellish demons due to their lust for power and in reference to the beer’s deceitful drinkability. Our golden 25th anniversary ale is such a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Brewed with a unique Belgian yeast strain, this sinfully smooth refermented specialty ale is artfully crafted for a delicate balance of spice, malt, and hop flavors with a fine Champagne-like effervescence. A truly infernal brew, to be enjoyed… responsibly. SRM: 5.5

Part of Unibroue Collection mixed 12pk. Pours a massive foamy off-white head and has an orangey appearance. Excessive carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aromas of yeast, sweet malt, hints of herbal and floral hops. Flavours are sweet, biscuit, yeasty, some hints of honey. Full bodied mouthfeel. Easy drinkability at 10.5%abv.

Pours a hazy golden-orange colour with a frothy warm off-white cap, very good stay and some thick foamy lacing. The carbonation is quite lively with smaller bubbles. Belgian Ale yeast nose with some hops showing bitterness to come and hints of apples. The maltiness in flavours are quite rich, somewhat sweet, but not syrupy. The hops helps in the dryness of the finish. Some decent spices that are well blended, with again, the apples notes. Some apricots, peaches. Feels like an Unibroue beer for sure with just a tad more hoppy bitterness. Pretty nice.
