From the "Brewers Gone Wild" series..... An Imperial Oatmeal Porter brewed with coffee beans. A big ol' black beer with oatmeal silkiness. Full-bodied with soothingly rich coffee flavors. Devilishly delicious!

A nice treat from Wisonsin Greg, thanks buddy! Cold pressed coffee, chocolate and cream right off the bat. Vanilla, nuts and toast filter through. Thin brown head and spotty lacing on top of a dark brown body. Creamy and medium bodied, a metallic tinge in the aftertaste. Robust and high quality.

Opens up so nicely. Roasted coffee, earthy hops, a touch of chocolate on the nose. The flavor is a little more bitter than sweet, more earthy coffee beans and a touch of hops. Nicely balanced and very smooth. High quality across the board. Started out a high 3, but got better every sip. Thanks Heybeerman for the trade.

A very strongly roasted coffee beer in nose and flavor. The porter backdrop is slight but appropriate. The head is a bit too fizzy and gone way too fast but it sits in the glass a nice dark brown.

I'm really starting to worry. There's half-eaten cupcakes everywhere, we're all out of paper clips, and the curtains smell like doob.. http://www.wtso.net/movie/64-The .... .if you stuck your head into a bag of fresh columbian/jamaican coffee beans, you might get a hint of what this beer smells like ... Oh my God! This dude does the best Flanders! .. . cold dark coffee and the darkest frozen dark chocolate flavours.. . Dr. Hibbert: For your condition, the only tonic is chronic. .An extremely drinkable beer, very enjoyable and easy to drink .. .. . maybe its all that second hand confidence .. . drank outta my new tyranena glass courtesy of john, thank you for the glass and awesome beer!! .. happy 420!. . great brew here, If you like coffee this is the beer for you .. .
Marge: Alright, family. Who can guess what's different about dinner tonight?
Homer: Eh? Same old garbage!

Courtesy of pfoxyjohn. Pours a black-brown with a nice head and ample lacing. Coffee upfront in the aromas - like a cup of cold black coffee - then a hint of oats and hops. Taste is also like a cup of cold black coffee, with a touch of oats silkiness and a bit of hops bitter. Good if you like coffee - cold and black. Probably better as it warms.

Bottled, thanks to omhper. Black with a low brown head. Big coffee aroma with touches of oats, crackers and pepper in the aroma. Flavour is clearly dominated of coffee, dark chocolate and dark fudge with grassy hops and crackers In the background. Black coffee, oatmeal and cocoa in the somewhat one-dimensional long aftertaste. Quite unrefined.

Bottled. Deep rubyish brown colour with small brown head. Aroma is strong smoke, alcohol, vanilla, wood and a real boost of coffee. Coffee in flavour along with vanilla, roasted malts and some mild hoppyness. Long coffeeish aftertaste. Brutal, different and pleasant.

This seemed to have been made well, its just not what I look for in a beer. It had a dark black color with a tan head. It had a roasted malt aroma with a strong coffee flavor to it. I wasnt a huge fan, but if you like dark beer, you'll love it.

Bottle from Bockyhorsey. Pour was full deep black-brown, very nice slowly developing head settled to the top, nice in size, great retention, wonderful lacing. The aroma was a full and robust coffee with some supporting chocolate, dry roastiness. The flavor was outstanding, top notch among its coffee stout or porter peers, nearly perfect coffee flavors melded with a light chocolate underneath, very detectable dry oatmeal too with some breadiness underneath. The mouthfeel was incredible, silky smooth, wonderful dryness to make this one of the best balanced full coffee brews I've had, the farthest thing from sticky, yet a bold brew. Great job, Tyranena, and a super duper thanks to Bill and Wendy for this selection, simply outstanding!

This beer pours a deep black colour with a thin coffee coloured head. Intriquite lacing along the glass. Aromas of coffee or cappucino and heavily roasted coffee beans. Followed up by a certain degree of earthiness. Very rich and chocolatey, dark chocolate, dirt and oak tastes. A wickedly smooth taste but an overwhelming flavor that lingers on your palate for quite some time.
