This is a variation of the Blueberry Kinda-Lambic that we have done in the past. This time we added 42 pounds of sour cherries to a once used (for Rocky's Revenge) bourbon barrel and filled it up with post-fermentation brown ale and a Belgian Lambic yeast/bacteria blend and let it fester (I suppose I could have used a more appetizing word) in the brewery for about a year.

Last of the bunch on tap @ Tyranena with pfoxyjohn and phishpond. Deep clear ruby amber pour with little head nor lacing. Bourbon and tart cherry and vanilla aroma with a very slight sour and vinegar presence. Taste is at first tart then sour then the vanilla bourbon and cherries kick in with a blend of goodness and complex flavor. Nicely done and worth trying for sure. Thank you John and Travis for taking me to Tyranena - a fine brewery with an eclectic selection of brews.
