True North All Natural - since 1996. Handcrafted in small batches. A classic English style India Pale Ale. This ale pours golden amber with a linen white head. On the nose, there is a subtle biscuit aroma with nice toffee notes. Finish is medium to dry. Pleasant warming notes make this IPA a true-to-style classic.

Bottle. Colour - Deep gold, clear, frothy white head. Aroma - cereal malts, light pine, light citrus, some toffee notes. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, well carbonated. Flavour - starts off sweet and malty before giving way to a citrusy finish.

Pours a fairly big frothy off-white head and has a golden amber appearance. Some thick dirty lacing. Aromas of light citrus and earthy hops, a bit piney as well. Flavours are crisp and hoppy, some citrus and mild floral hops with some bready notes. Average carbonation and retention. Medium body. Some light bitterness on the palate. Not bad.

6-pack from the LCBO. Have not bought Magnotta in a while, but their IPA was my first look at the real style and quite liked it over 15 years ago when I started rating beers. Pours a hazy golden-orange colour with a white cap, decent stay and nice lace. Aromas of grassy hops, floral with some light caramel malts. The taste is grassy bitter with a little dryness. Fruity hints in the background. Another good product, but preferred from the bottle.
