Most ratings on this one are old. I believe the recipe has changed significantly. Its worth revisiting. Grassy Saaz in the nose with some biscuit notes and some wildflower.Pale straw body is super clear with dead white egg whites head that has very good retention, and leaves nice lace...Spot On! Mouth is medium to lite bodied with excellent carbonation. Classic Pils flavor profile with hay up front, a tinge of lemony citrus, a very dry clean finish that is just slightly bitter. This is a great American rendition of a classic European style....WELL DONE!

pours a pale, clear, straw colored body with a thin white bubbly head on top and minimal lacing. The aroma is spicy pilsner malt along with a lemony, citrus hop aroma a very hoppy lager aroma. The taste has a great lemony hop presence along with the classic pilsner malt. The mouth feel is medium-high carbonation, light and crisp body.

This beer was offered as part of a larger mixed variety case by Troegs. The beer was refreshing and appropriate for a hot and humid 4th of July day. The beer is crisp and clean - a nice pilsner.

Not bad for a Pils... light, crisp and refreshing on this rather warm day. Pale yellow when drawn, slight head and no lacing - zilch - slightly grassy flavor and aroma - nice finish.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a Pilsener glass. Appearance: Its body bright golden color with some cool sparkling carbonation. The head is small, about one finger thick, bright white in color and slowly fades down to a small slick ring of lace. Smell: There is a full bouquet of mostly floral/spicy hops with light pale malt and just a slight hint of sulfur. Taste/Mouth: The flavor is very crisp and clean with a solid medium body. Hop flavor is bright, floral, and clean with a pleasing level of bitterness. Just under the hops there is a modest level of crisp, dry, and pale white bready malt. The finish is quick, dry and fairly clean with some light hop bitterness. Its carbonation is quite active which gives it a lively and refreshing texture. Notes: This is a great refreshing beer with excellent Pilsner Flavor.

Fresh straw and snappy, peppery hops on the nose followed by lemon and peach. Dark yellow in color with a frothy head and thick lacing, looks grrrrrreat!. Light bodied, quenching and solidly bitter. Heavy noble hop flavor with an upfront peppery spice. Mild juicy fruits and a dry grainy taste. Fantastic pils, this gives Prima a run for the money.

Pours a very light pale yellow with a white head. Hops are very high considering how light and crisp this otherwise looks or could be. All around OK.

Pours a clear pale yellow with a nice soupy head that fades quickly. The aroma is a lemon and pepper hop character. The flavor is slightly astringent and a little off-putting.

Good head formation, but a bit soapy. Is this unfiltered? Slightly cloudy. Clean, fresh aroma, but lacking a bit in body--a little thin in the grain bill? Good balance and flavor. Aside from the thinness, I'll have another....

Ddin't realize I never reviewed this before, after having it again today at a baseball game. Has a very light, yellow color with a little bit of white head. A little heavier on the hops than the malt, but not very flavorful in my opinion. Very light body, but I guess it goes ok at a baseball game. Much better than Coors or Bud!
