http://houseofshandy.com/#Curious Driven by wanderlust and a desire for discovery, the Curious Traveler™ set out to explore the globe. Always fearlessly inquisitive, he relished opportunities to befriend other travelers and to experience cultures he had only previously imagined. He sampled their wares, their foods and most importantly their libations. Some were good. Some not so good. Others were downright dangerous. Many years into his travels, his pace slowed on a particularly sweltering day. He sought refuge in a small pub to escape the oppressive heat. Before he could even finish wiping his brow, the bartender handed him a glistening glass of ale. The Traveler took a liking to the invigorating lemon shandy concoction. “Quite a refresher!” he said gratefully. The Traveler has never stopped exploring – in fact, he’s on the road this very day. Somewhere. Only one thing has changed: he now makes sure he orders a shandy everywhere he goes. We proudly introduce our first offering. The CURIOUS TRAVELER™ – an intriguing fellow….

pours a cloudy sandy yellow with no visibility, small head with little retention, Minimal lacing. The aroma consists of lemon citrus and malty sweetness. The taste is sweet cane sugar up front moves into lots of citrus fruits with a tart lemony finish The mouth feel is light carbonation, light body.

Pours a hazy golden with a minimal eggshell head. Sweet lemon dominates the aroma but let’s past a bit of malt. Flavor is more like good lemonade than beer, but provides refreshment that will take the edge off a hot day. Texture is quite fizzy and rather firm. Best for sipping in e summer heat while chillin’ or watching a ball game.

Thick strands of lacing following a huge white head both laying atop a cloudy, golden-yellow body. Snappy and quenching with a nice malty sweetness. Natural lemon & lime flavors coupled with crisp wheat. A touch of soda within the aroma and a bit of fizziness to the mouth feel. Very good shandy.

Picked this one up at House of Brews. An occluded sunshine in color with a two finger frothy textured white head rising above. There was good retention. Thick ringlet is left behind. Lemon noise is bright. The lemon is well balanced with a light malt. Light medium and creamy.
