Growler baby! Bottled on October 2nd so it is a month old. Pours a nice golden orange/amber with a one finger head that goes down very quick. Aroma is mildly hopped and quite fruity. Taste is a bit tame but reminds me of a mild IPA. Dry to the tongue at the end. Fairly bland and not very lively. Guess I should not wait a month before drinking. Mediocre.

July 2010 - Sample at brewpub. Pale gold, average lacing. A medicore effort. Lots of biscuity malt and earthy hops. Very mild bitterness. Meh to this.

This is more along the lines of the bitter of a pub in England. The cask version of this, I think, is much nicer. The cask condiditoning brings out the creaminess of the ale without making it sweet. This is a good session beer, and it is a quencher in hot weather yet a pretty good bracer when it's cold out.
