New (2001) Norwegian lager brewed by Tou Bryggeri, Stavanger, a subsidiary of Ringnes. It is brewed with 5 different malts: Pilsner-, colour-, münchener-, caramel- and whiskeymalt, giving it a golden colour and a sweet, malty aroma. The flavour is more rounded than the other Tou products, with a rich character and a pleasant bitterness. The use of whiskeymalt gives the beer its characteristic aftertaste.

One of the best Norwegian lagers. Moderate carbonation, head disappears quickly. Even though the pilsnermalt is dominant, the use of münchener- and whiskeymalt adds some interesting notes to the aroma and flavour. Malty sweetness is quite well balanced by the hops.
