This is a very average beer. I wasn't expecting much because it wasn't very expensive by Canadian standards. Worth a try I guess, but not much more than that.

Well, I certianly expected worse from this, especially after glancing at the remarks of folks who have reviewed this beer already. But to be honest, I've certianly had worse beers.
A sweet/metallic twang to the finish knocks the drinkability and mouthfeel down a bit, and the appearence and aroma are certinaly nothing to rave about either. But for the flavor profile, there's enough semi-interesting things going on with this beer that I (grudginly) give it 3.5 in Taste. Hey, I'm generous when I want to be, eh...?
A typical sub-par Green Bottled Euro-Lager -- this was just happens to come from the less glamorous eastern half of what used to be Czechloslovakia. I would pass on this, if I were you.

500 ml bottle. Dark yellow gold color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is grassy and grainy, with a touch of corn and alcohol. A light to medium bodied Pale Lager, Malts are fruity and grassy. Then its metallic and medicinal. Highly carbonated. This beer almost makes me wish it had some skunking it would improve the taste. It’s a cross between cardboard and a wet dog. Horrid beer, a definite drain pour. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp. Aftertaste is bitter with a long lasting tongue coating unpleasantness.

After pouring this lager into my glass, I notied right away that it nearly no head. A faded gold color, the aroma was faint, smelled slightly skunky but not too bad. It had a light taste in the mouth, nothing overpowering. The initial taste was a dry, malty flavor with a metallic aftertaste I really didn't care for. And this was coming from a bottle!! Not bad, but I think I'll buy other beers I enjoy better.

A so-so beer, described on the can as "Premium Beer", "Helles Lager", and "Svetly Leziak". I think the last two translate to "light lager" which make this one a swill and that's all it really is. Nothing premium about it, except maybe the labelling on the can.

This pours a clearish golden color with no head and a fine layer of lacing. From start to finish it is very non-descript....not much aroma or taste to mention. It isn't bad, though....and was very inexpensive.

Pours with a decidedly golden color, with little detectable aroma and average head with big white bubbles. Flavor is more malty than hoppy, with some bitterness peaking through. I found this to be worth a try, although there are examples of this style that I like a lot more - and some of them are even (gasp) American.

Thi sis the only beer that I can truthfully say pours a solid yellow color. Very very thin head and leaves some lace on the glass. Aroma is slightly sweet, with trace of sweetness. solid mothfeel, terrible aftertaste...leaves my mouth feeling used. Not too great.

Another example of Czech beer, that's not so great...

I didn't enjoy this beer. It seemed cheaply made, with bland flavor and a disturbing, skunky aftertaste. Definitely under par for a Czech. beer.
