2017 Holiday Ale edition with a 10.2% ABV. in a 500ml brown bottle from the brewery. Pours a hazy copper-amber colour with a warm beige cap, decent retention and some nice creamy lace. Fruity sweet malt nose with the raisins and figs notes. Hints of hops. The flavours are kind of odd. Darker malts found in a nut brown ale with the nuttiness, fruity malts and maybe the hops that are off. Grassy, green leaves, not blending well for me. The rest seems fine.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours an average size frothy tan head and has a deep amber appearance with reddish highlights. Lots of dirty sticky lacing. Aromas of dark roasted malts, hints of dry fruit, a bit of yeasty notes. Flavours are somewhat similar to aromas, much more of the dry fruits, Belgian yeast notes are fairly subtle. Nice mild warming sensation. Lively carbonation. Alcohol very well hidden (10%abv). Pretty good.
