Our fourth installment in the Ski For Kids series brewed with World Cup Ski Racer Dustin Cook is SASLONG, named after the gnarly Italian ski race at Val Gardena. This beer was brewed first as a saison, then lagered for four weeks and dry hopped with newly harvested Amarillo hops grown for the first time in Germany. Expect a flurry of fruit-forward flavours ending in a bone dry and moderately bitter finish that is both spicy and herbaceous.

Bought lots of cans there before, but first time enjoying on tap. Hazy light golden colour with a creamy white top, decent stay and light creamy lace. Beautiful saison smell with Belgian ale yeast, fresh grass and citrus notes. Very mild in taste though. Some light saison touch, some mild dryness from the dry-hopped. Feels like a watered down saison but it is 5.8% abv, so the layered aspect seems to smooth things down - good, easy-going and interesting.
