Rich amber malts and Bavarian weizen yeast create notes of clove, caramel, ripe fruit, toffee and vanilla in this traditional Bavarian dunkelweizen ("dark wheat"). This autumn version of Dousman Street Wheat is named for the new street in front of the brewery.

This beer poured a cloudy amber color with a thick beige head. Had a somewhat grassy aroma with hints of sweet malt coming through. Slightly sour with a touch of tartness midpalate. Sweet on the finish. Decent overall.

Sampled on draught at the brewpub. Pours a dark cloudy muddy brown colour with a small to medium sized light brown head. Aroma is strong of wheat, almonds and plums. Taste is creamy, slightly acidic with a chewy mouthfeel. Decent beer, but a little boring in my opinion.
