Our Imperial IPA smacks you in the nose with pungent, resinous, citrus-like American hops, awakens taste buds you didn't know you had with absurd amounts of hop bitterness and flavor, then mercifully soothes your palate with it's clean, dry finish so you can come back for more.

This dipa iis 9.8% abv so it has quite a kick. I have heard of garlicky ipas and have never had one until now. I love the flavor of garlic and this has a hint of sweetness to it. The nose is of a bouquet of hops and yet the flavor stands out as garlicky. I recommend a buffalo burger or the titletown burger with this and some potato sweet fries.

Easily the best brew that I've had at Titletown and the best I've had in 2008 and a tie with NG IcedBarley for 2009. What a magnificent piece of artwork. An incredibly dank and heady brew for only the most tolerant of palates. Up until this point the Hoposaurus was my favorite from Titletown but the Hop Monster surpasses all expectations. Pours a hazey orange-amber body with a big fluffy white head. Aroma was stinky of herbs, pine, whole grapefruits and the forest floor all in one. Taste was noticeably astringent and chewy from beginning to end. Loads of citrus fruit, battle of the species between sweet and sour treats. I can't believe I'm missing out on this beer by not living in Green Bay. Dave, you created something beautiful in this beer. I sure you miss you guys!

Wow!!!! A forest in a glass. Poured a nice clear amber color with a two-finger white head. The aromas were composed of strong pine notes with some citrus zest and wood. The flavor was strong on the pine with some grapefruit on the finish. Tasty.
