We relegated traditional American “C” hops to a “minor” role in this West-coast-style IPA, which nevertheless features aggressive resiny, spicy, and fruit-like hop flavor.

This beer has one major flaw, it is served in the same place as their award winning (and possibly soon to be renamed) Hopasaurus Rex. With such a flavorful beer behind the counter why bring out its wimpier second cousin once removed. Perhaps it is for people who want to try ipas but you don't want to blow their minds. In the same way you might want to give someone mild salsa instead of medium or hot. Nice gold color, slightly hoppier flavor (tastes like 28-30ibus to me).
