500 ml capped bottle. Poured in the old and original T & T Weissbier glass an unfiltered and light hazy gold-yellow coloured Weizenbier with a one finger almost white, fine and dense foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is yeast, wheat malts, spicy, cloves and notes of coriander. The flavour is grainy malts, corny, may be some rye and spicy, cloves. The mouthfeel is thin and grainy. The texture is watery. This light bodied Weizenbier has a long grainy malts finish. Only a wheat malts and cloves combination is not enough to make this Weissbier from Oberpfalz as an over the average Weizenbier.

Cloudy pale golden color with a full white head. Light malt aroma with a hint of pear in it. Sweet and sour flavor seems to carry a bit of the pear essence that was present in the nose. Mild malty aftertaste is nothing special. There are much better weissbiers around but this is OK.
