This rye beer poured out a beautiful dark amber color, almost a shame to drink it. Malty, hoppy aroma with surprisingly very little rye detectable. The flavor of this beer was malty, but it wasn't the rye malt that shined through - makes me wonder what percent of the grist was actually rye malt. The only place that the rye was prominent was in the finish but it wasn't overly strong. This would be a good rye beer for folks to try who don't really like the taste of rye.
