Pours a solid black with a an off white/brown head. It smelled like a fresh cup of coffee, so to me, an excellent aroma. Flavor was strong with coffee. A great beer in my opinion.

sampler from brewery. SOLID black body and color with a good head and lacing. Aroma is very strong of coffee as well as taste. Is this even a beer? I'm not a coffee fan, but this isn't so bad, and I would def drink again!

Sampled at Thunderhead. Poured a thick black color with a nice thick brown head. Strong expresso/coffee aroma. Flavor was very strong, coffee as the main taste. Aftertaste was very malty, although coffee still was present. A solid stout.
