This unique brew provides a spicy, full bodied, light finishing beer that is guaranteed to please. We fixed the classic wheat beer style by throwing 20% Rye malt in with 5 domestic malts and two Northwest Hop varieties. As clean and bright as our mountain streams, even the most finicky of fish can't turn their heads when this beer is presented.

Sampled on 10/11/2012 at GABF. This rye beer pours a slightly hazy yellow gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet., a touch of spiciness The hops are citrusy and herbal. Nice carbonation. Nicely balanced. Touch of rye spiciness. Light and refreshing. Crisp and clean. Would make a nice session ale. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
