Rich fruit and hop character in aroma. Chewy, juicy malts and intense hoppiness coming through in mouth with a hint of tangerine and pear drops. Ends with a well-balanced bitterness.

Bottle from LCBO. Pours a fairly small foamy white head that dissipates to a thin coating. Has a lightly hazed golden orangey appearance. Average lacing. Aromas are floral and herbal, some citrusy notes, yeast and mild spice. Flavours are fruity, mostly citrus, some pine and notes of grapefruit and subtle tropical hints. Moderate carbonation. Quite good.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Hazy golden colour, large white head. Lovely and strong aroma of various tropical fruits, also fir trees. The flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, with plenty of tropical fruits and pine needles, but the bitterness is hardly what an American would call "Imperial". Still a very enjoyable beer, clearly the "big brother" of Jaipur and Kipling.

Single from the LCBO. Pours a light golden colour, hazed by transparent floaties. Foamy white head, decent retention and some bubbly lace. Fresh hop smell well-balanced between the grass and the fruit. Mild grapefruits, oranges, light pine needles and other herbs. Very smooth mouthfeel for such a beer. Nice bitterness but with a good finish that does not linger too much. Very light zest only. Orange and grapefruit notes all around. A great Imperial IPA that goes down extremely well.

The beer pours a slightly hazed honey gold colour with a generous rocky snow white head. Aroma is mild grapefruit, orange, and grass. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is weak grapefruit, pea pods, citrus peel, and grass. My least favourite Thornbridge beer so far. -

Aroma is not quite as hoppy as I expected, but it is citrusy, mainly lemon, and just slightly sweet - and rather appealing. It pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a very thick, fine-bubbled, rather persistent white head that leaves some respectable lacing. Flavor is fairly hoppy, scarcely bitter, with an undertone of citrus that is mainly lemon and grapefruit but not too sour. Texture is smooth yet lively, leaving a nice hoppy tingle.
